Job summary

Muhlenberg School District is seeking a District Content Creator to identify, develop, and produce engaging digital and multimedia content that tells the story of the District and its community. You will collaborate with the Superintendent and leadership to highlight student and staff accomplishments, teaching and learning, and district initiatives, while updating the district website.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, digital media, multimedia production, broadcasting, public relations, marketing, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience producing high-quality digital and multimedia content.
• Proficiency in video recording and video editing.
• Proficiency in digital photography and photo editing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience creating content for social media and other digital platforms.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, develop, and produce compelling stories about students, staff, classrooms, programs, activities, and district initiatives.
• Visit district schools, classrooms, programs, and events to capture authentic teaching, learning, student achievement, and culture.
• Plan, record, edit, and produce professional-quality video content for district platforms.
• Capture and edit supporting footage from classrooms, events, facilities, and activities.
• Create graphics, infographics, and visual content as needed.
• Maintain district website with accurate, timely, accessible information.
