We are looking for our next General Manager! If you are ready to rise like one of our bagels and grow your career, then becoming a District Shift Leader is for you. District Shift Leaders participate in a targeted General Manager development plan to learn how to be a bagel boss. Once the development plan is complete, you will be next in line to take ownership of a bakery as a General Manager when a position is available!

What’s a day in the life of a District Shift Leader? District Shift Leaders perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed. Traveling provides opportunities to gain independence and learn from additional leaders. They are the next General Managers and lead in the absence of the GM. Shifts start as early as 3 am for baking and opening duties. You will lead by example, be a brand ambassador, and provide coaching and training. You will also jump into different roles every shift to ensure high-quality food and a safe, clean environment.

The GM development plan includes training in inventory tracking, vendor orders, cash management, and skills like P&L analysis, food cost and labor targets, scheduling, and recruiting. If you enjoy making people’s mornings, we’d love to hear from you! Must be at least 18 years old to apply.

What We’re Looking for:

• Expected to fill in for GMs at other locations within the market
• Expected to accept a permanent GM promotion when available (location not guaranteed)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of leadership experience preferred
• Ability to work varied hours, including early mornings and weekends
• Pass background check, valid driver’s license
• Complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification by the end of the GM development plan if not already certified
• Tip eligibility varies by state
