Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math, writing, reading, communication, and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of large quantity food preparation and sanitary practices.

• Bi-lingual skills helpful.
• Must pass background checks and Safe Serve exam.

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise food preparation per guidelines.
• Complete and run daily reports (menus, time sheets, labor, deposits).
• Maintain customer accounts and process payments and status changes.
• Schedule and adjust employee hours and assignments.
• Train and evaluate staff in food prep, sanitation, and customer relations.
• Communicate operating changes to routines and menus.
• Discuss nutrition program details with stakeholders.
• Collect money from past due accounts and issue notices.
• Prepare monthly reports (CDE-13, labor).
• Develop promotions for child nutrition programs.
• Attend nutrition meetings and count inventory.
