Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Lanham, MD is seeking a District Manager to oversee daily route operations, delivery performance, and customer service, guiding service teams to ensure efficient, high-quality service. You will coordinate route schedules, coach drivers, handle escalated issues, and ensure safety policies are followed with frequent branch-area travel.

This leadership position reports to the Service Manager and requires strong communication, teamwork, and a track record of improving route

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in route operations, delivery management, transportation, service management, or logistics leadership.
• 1+ year of direct leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily execution of delivery and service routes for accurate and efficient customer service.
• Manage route schedules, territory coverage, and workload distribution to maximize productivity.
• Lead, coach, and develop route drivers and service team members to drive performance.
• Respond to escalated customer concerns, service issues, and delivery challenges.
• Promote and enforce safety policies, DOT regulations (if applicable), and procedures.
