Job summary

24 Hour Fitness is seeking a District Facilities Specialist to maintain safety and functionality across clubs in a district. You will apply trade skills in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire safety or pool equipment to repair, prevent, and improve facilities.

You will work with the District Repair and Maintenance Manager to schedule maintenance, manage work orders, and respond to emergencies, while complying with OSHA and safety guidelines. Travel by car within district.

Qualifications

• Trade skills in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire safety or pool equipment.
• 1–5 years of facilities, trade or engineering experience.
• High School Diploma.
• Ability to read schedules and SOPs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Professionalism and safety consciousness.
• Ability to manage multiple locations via a work order system.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble gym and building equipment, ensuring parts are clean and functional.
• Assess and troubleshoot equipment to restore operation, including pools, drains, HVAC, electrical.
• Log repairs in the work order management system.
• Communicate with vendors and technical support for parts and diagnosis.
• Create and execute a facility maintenance calendar with the District Repair and Maintenance Manager.
• Prioritize and address emergency facility issues as needed.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety guidelines daily.
• Ensure proper operation of interior and exterior areas within leased premises.
