Job summary
CVS Health in Georgia seeks a District Support Pharmacist to travel within the district, oversee pharmacy operations, and serve as the Pharmacy Manager's proxy during bench shifts. You will actively immunize patients and coach technicians, ensuring compliance with laws and CVS Health policies.
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.
Responsibilities
- Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
- Oversee the pharmacy and serve as the Pharmacy Manager's proxy during bench shifts.
- Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and help resolve insurance and medication issues.
- Proactively deliver immunizations and coach technicians to support immunization efforts.
- Maintain patient safety and comply with federal and state laws and CVS Health policies.
