Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to help cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores in the district. You will support the pharmacy team, ensure safe dispensing, and participate in immunization efforts while traveling to stores as needed.

The role requires an active Pharmacist License in the state, an active NPI, and compliance with DEA exclusions. Regular travel, weekend availability, and strong patient service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled by DPC.
• Support the pharmacy team in day-to-day operations and coverage.
• Assist safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and immunizations.
• Act as the Pharmacy Manager's proxy during bench shifts when needed.
• Contribute to patient care by addressing insurance and medication issues.
