Job summary

CVS Health is looking for District Support Pharmacists to help cover pharmacy scheduling gaps across stores within a district. You will support the Pharmacy Manager, oversee daily operations, and ensure safe dispensing, counseling, and immunization services for patients.

The role emphasizes traveling between stores, maintaining patient safety, and coaching team members to deliver compassionate care while navigating insurance issues and workflow procedures.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as needed.
• Attend to patient care and ensure patient safety in dispensing and counseling.
• Oversee pharmacy workflow and safety guardrails at every workstation.
• Cover pharmacist shifts as scheduled and act as proxy for Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts.
• Support immunizations and collaborate with the healthcare team to resolve insurance issues.
