Job summary

CVS Health in New York, NY is seeking a part-time District Support Pharmacist to help cover district pharmacy staffing, support the Pharmacy Manager, and ensure safe dispensing across stores.

You will travel within the district, immunize, counsel patients, oversee inventory, and coach pharmacy teams while upholding CVS policies, state laws, and patient privacy. Flexible schedule and weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled and oversee the pharmacy team.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment with proper workflow and patient safety.
• Act as Pharmacy Manager's proxy during bench shifts and cover day-to-day duties when required.
• Provide immunizations and counseling to patients and coordinate with the healthcare team.
• Maintain inventory control including cold chain products and ensure compliance with laws and CVS policies.
