Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to support stores across the district, providing clinical care, dispensing, and immunizations while training pharmacy teams. The role requires travel within the district and coverage for scheduling gaps, with a focus on safe, accurate prescription processing and patient care.

You will work under the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader, covering shifts, maintaining compliance, and delivering compassionate service in a fast-paced retail pharmacy

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications safely and counsel patients.
• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled.
• Oversee pharmacy operations and serve as proxy for Pharmacy Manager when needed.
• Ensure accuracy of prescriptions and patient labeling; follow safety protocols.
