CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across the district, under the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader. You will travel to stores, oversee operations, and ensure safe, accurate dispensing and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Help manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Travel district to fill pharmacist shifts; oversee the pharmacy as proxy for the Pharmacy Manager.
• Support safe, accurate prescription fulfillment by guiding workflow and safety guardrails.
• Cover Pharmacy Manager duties when serving as the lead pharmacist-on-duty.
• Foster positive patient experiences, coach the team, and resolve insurance or medication issues.
• Provide immunizations and mentor technicians to immunize.
• Manage inventory with best practices, safeguard cold chain products across pharmacies.
• Remain flexible with scheduling; contribute to a safe, inclusive team.
• Maintain clinical/technical skills through trainings and CMEs to support patients.
• Support access to care with pharmacist clinical services where permitted (e.g., COVID/Flu testing, contraception).
• Follow laws, regulations, and CVS policies to protect patient safety and privacy.
