Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time District Support Pharmacist in Louisiana to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across stores in the district. You will help manage patient care, oversee dispensing accuracy, and support immunization services where permitted.

The role requires an active pharmacist license in the store’s state, an active NPI, and adherence to all regulatory standards, including DEA exclusions.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing.
• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and oversee pharmacy operations.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and counseling.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager and act as proxy during bench shifts.
• Provide immunization services where permissible.
