Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacy scheduling gaps across a Tennessee district. You will assist the Pharmacy Manager, supervise the staff, and ensure safe dispensing and patient care in CVS Pharmacy locations.

The role requires an active pharmacist license in the state, an active NPI, and ability to travel within the district. Immunizations, customer service, and team leadership are key components of this position.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.
• Ability to travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures.
• Assume Pharmacy Manager's day-to-day duties when serving as the only or primary pharmacist-on-duty.
• Contribute to patient experiences by counseling and immunizations where permissible; supervise technicians.
• Assist with inventory management and protect cold chain products across pharmacies.
