Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover shifts across stores in the district. You will help manage patient care, ensure safe dispensing, counseling, and immunization services while supporting the Pharmacy Manager.

This part-time role requires an active pharmacist license, a valid NPI, and the ability to travel within a reasonable radius. You will work nights and weekends as needed and contribute to a culture of safety, accuracy, and compassionate

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts and support the Pharmacy Manager.
• Overseeing the pharmacy and serving as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy when needed.
• Support immunizations and coach pharmacy technicians to immunize.
• Ensure patient safety by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
