Job summary

CVS Health’s District Support Pharmacists (DSPs) cover scheduling gaps across the district and support store pharmacy teams. You will travel between stores under the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader, ensuring operations run smoothly and safely.

You’ll help with dispensing, immunizations, and patient care while maintaining compliance with regulations. The role requires an active pharmacist license in the state of employment and an active NPI, with travel within a reasonable radius.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled by leadership.
• Support the management, oversight and operation of the pharmacy and pharmacy team.
• Assist with safe and accurate dispensing, immunizations, and patient counseling.
• Provide coverage for scheduling gaps and act as Pharmacy Manager's proxy when needed.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
