Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across stores in the district. You will help manage pharmacy operations, ensure safe dispensing, and contribute to a compassionate patient care culture.

The role requires an active state Pharmacist license, an active NPI, and readiness to travel within the district. This is a part-time position with the potential to cover shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living CVS Health purpose by delivering safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizations.
• Traveling within a reasonable radius to fill pharmacist shifts and support the Pharmacy Manager.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assumes Pharmacy Manager duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and coaching the team to do the same.
