Job summary

Otsego Public Schools is seeking a District Paraprofessional Substitute to support classroom and district needs. The substitute will start daily at the home building and may be reassigned to other buildings as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and emphasizes confidentiality, attendance, and the ability to assist with instructional materials. Pay is $15.45 per hour, with the posting remaining open until filled.

TITLE OF POSITION: District Paraprofessional Substitute

Now through the end of 2026-2027 school year

Five (5) days per week

STARTING DATE: Immediate

CLOSING DATE: Until Filled

LOCATION: To be determined daily based on the need of the district

• District Paraprofessional Sub will plan to start their day at their home building. If a paraprofessional sub position is needed, they will be assigned to that position to start the day or as the day progresses to a position that requires a paraprofessional sub.
• If another building in the district is short paraprofessional subs, the district may choose to pull the district paraprofessional sub from their base building.

Pay Rate: $15.45 per hour

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in the school setting preferred

• Escort and supervise individual students and/or groups of students both in and outside the building as needed.
• Assist with the preparation of instructional materials for use in the assigned classroom.
