Job summary

Lakeville Area Schools ISD 194 is seeking a Licensed School Nurse for a long-term substitute role in district-wide coverage from August 31, 2026 through November 30, 2026. The 1.00 FTE position focuses on removing health-related barriers to learning and maintaining a safe environment for students.

Responsibilities include supporting students with medical needs, guiding health office activities, and collaborating with health service staff; compensation follows the EML contract with a salary range

Qualifications

  • Licensed Registered Nurse with MN Board of Nursing.
  • Licensed School Nurse with MN Department of Education.
  • Public Health Certificate with MN Board of Nursing.
  • CPR for Healthcare Providers certification (HCP).

Position Description
  • Enhance the educational process by minimizing or removing health-related barriers to learning, while promoting a safe environment for students.
  • Support the students of Lakeville Area Schools who have medical needs.
  • Support the health service staff by teaching, directing and delegating activities within the health office and health related activities within the schools.

  • Salary range: $54,123 to $101,459 (pro-rated for FTE and contracted days)
Position Qualifications
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse with the MN Board of Nursing
  • Licensed as a School Nurse with the MN Department of Education
  • Public Health Certificate with the MN Board of Nursing
  • Must possess and maintain a current certification in CPR for HCP's
