Job summary

Plant Partners, Inc. is seeking a Manager for District Service & Sales in Columbia, SC. The role leads live goods merchandising across stores, staffing to budget and ensuring district sales goals are met.

You will supervise recruiting, training, and ongoing guidance for garden center teams, coordinate with regional support, and uphold safety protocols while promoting customer satisfaction across the district.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior management, supervisory, or related leadership experience.
• Ability to plan and coordinate multiple initiatives while meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrates relevant leadership, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to carefully follow directionswhile paying strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to following all safety requirements and recommendations.

• Flexible availability, including weekends and key holidays during peak seasons as needed.
• Weekend work as required according to business needs.
• Must reside within designated district.
• Must pass criminal background check.

• Must provide valid driver’s license, proof of require insurance coverage and pass the company’s required Motor Vehicle Report requirements

Responsibilities

• Works with the Regional Manager and Field Support to recruit, interview, and hire Garden Center merchandising teams according to budgetary needs
• Trains and develops merchandising team according to company expectations
• Provides ongoing communication, direction, and leadership to the merchandising team
• Follows all company safety protocols to maintain a safe working and shopping environment
• Builds and maintains productive working relationships with teams and store staff throughout district
• Provides updates and feedback to facilitate product sales throughout district
• Maintains a professional and customer-friendly attitude
• Follows customer and vendor policies and procedures in daily work routine
