Job summary

The Southern York County School District in Glen Rock is hiring for two full-time District Mechanic positions on the 1st Shift. Each position is 8 hours/day, Monday–Friday. Responsibilities include grounds work, electrical repairs, plumbing maintenance, HVAC repair, and controls work.

The entry-level starting pay is $21.75 per hour with a $100 bonus upon hire and a robust benefits package including leave, tuition reimbursement, and medical plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in any of the listed areas preferred but not required.
• Ability to obtain an applicable pesticide license.
• Must meet requirements under Act 168 of 2014.

Overview

The Southern York County School District is hiring for two Full‑Time District Mechanic positions on the 1st Shift. Each position is full‑time (8 hours/day, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) with a ½‑hour unpaid lunch. Periodic overtime on nights and weekends may be required.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to learn
• Ability to obtain an applicable pesticide license

Schedule & Pay

Entry‑level starting rate is $21.75 per hour, with consideration for significant applicable experience. Upon hire, hourly employees will receive a $100 bonus.
