Job summary

Pit Stop Stores is seeking a motivated District Manager to provide leadership and operational oversight for our Pierre and Mobridge convenience store locations, with potential to assume more locations in the future.

The District Manager will work directly with Store Managers and company leadership to ensure staffing, efficient operations, customer focus, and financial success across sites. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, problem solving, and relationship-building with store teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and accountability to Store Managers and teams.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and develop strong employees and managers.
• Maintain staffing levels and assist with ongoing recruiting.
• Regularly visit locations and maintain strong in-store presence.
• Monitor sales, labor costs, inventory, and store performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and implement action plans.
• Ensure policies and operating procedures are followed.
• Oversee customer service, merchandising, cleanliness, and overall store standards.
• Assist with employee relations and performance management.
• Ensure timely completion of reports, inventories, and paperwork.
