Position Overview:

The District Manager will develop relationships with top On and Off Premise accounts throughout Oregon, executing plans and sales priorities to ensure consistent growth, innovation, and brand program execution. Building effective relationships, providing education, and leading sales efforts with wholesale partners are key components of this role.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
  • Calling on top On and Off Premise accounts in Oregon
  • Attaining sales goals and objectives
  • Developing new accounts
  • Riding along with sales reps and DMs to enhance product knowledge and rapport
  • Managing inventory, vintages, product rotation, and purchasing
  • Educating wholesaler partners, conducting team meetings, GSMs, and events
  • Communicating market conditions weekly with Regional Manager
  • Participating in meetings and business reviews
  • Planning and executing supplier market visits, dinners, tastings, and education events
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 5 years of distributor or supplier experience
  • Wine retail sales experience preferred
  • Strong wine knowledge and educational ability
  • Charismatic and competitive personality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organizational skills, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Ability to present to large groups
