Apploi in United States (New Jersey) seeks a District Manager to oversee multi-unit food service operations, directing a team of directors to ensure sanitation, compliance, and high resident satisfaction. Travel to assigned locations is required.

Key responsibilities include recruiting and training directors, enforcing budgets, conducting sanitation inspections, and driving improvements while maintaining strong relationships with facility administration and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years proven leadership experience in multi-unit settings.
• Experience in healthcare food service operations.
• Excellent communication skills with emphasis on client relationships and employee engagement.
• Current CDM and ServSafe certifications.
• Strong knowledge of food cost, sanitation, production, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, trains, and onboards new directors and staff within established timeframes.
• Conducts weekly sanitation inspections with directors and assigns corrective actions.
• Communicates expectations and ensures accountability of directors and staff.
• Oversees spending, food procurement and ensures budget compliance.
• Troubleshoots and addresses day-to-day operational issues and admin concerns.
• Ensures corporate compliance through reporting and required inspections.
• Maintains regular communication with Directors via calls and TEAMS.
• Ensures adherence to all regulatory standards at facility, local, state, and federal levels.
• Maintains relationships with facility administration and attends one-on-one meetings with DON or admin on site.
• Promotes growth and development of Directors through goal setting and follow-up.
• Maintains presentable professional appearance and participates in events.
• Interacts with residents to gather feedback and improve satisfaction.
• Performs other duties as assigned by regional manager and VP.
