Job summary

  • Approve expenses for direct reports and manage district budgets.
  • Train new shop and field personnel and maintain stock logs.

Job description

ROLE
The District Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of their designated areas. Achieving business goals and revenue targets, overseeing daily operations, managing budgets, and setting performance objectives, recruiting, training, supervising, and supporting the Operations Managers of their designated workforce..
The job duties herein describe essential functions of the position. Additionally, regular attendance and punctuality are essential to the success of the position. The individual should be able to perform these essential functions with or without requested reasonable accommodations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Interpret and/or prepare gas lift designs and prepare and select appropriate equipment for field.
  • Provide input as to design criteria for artificial lift equipment.
  • Help Operation Managers manage workforce scheduling and jobs.
  • Conduct monthly safety training and ensure field personnel stay current with safety requirements
  • Manage field ticket entry to ensure that direct reports are getting tickets in on time
  • Forecast and communicate monthly revenue for product lines to Regional Manager and or Vice President.
  • Communicate with sales team with upcoming work and equipment setup
  • Manage and approve expenses for direct reports
  • Responsible for training new shop and field personnel
  • Customer stock log- maintain log for equipment coming in and going out
  • Sign off on POs for district, including supplies and maintenance
  • Inventory management control, including all buy out items
  • Promote and strictly adhere to all Company HSE policies and practices.
  • Conduct all business activities in accordance with company code of conduct, policies and procedures and all applicable legal requirements.
  • Perform other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • This position requires working in an office setting 90% of the time, and 10% in the field in all types of weather conditions. It requires working on rig sites where surface areas are often muddy or slippery. It also requires working around heavy machinery, mechanical equipment with moving parts and electrical equipment as well as exposure to loud noises and contaminants. The employee is regularly required to operate vehicles on company business and drive long distances on company business.
