Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking a District Operations Manager to oversee multiple salons in the Tulsa area. You will align store operations with company goals, drive sales, and ensure quality standards and efficient procedures.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to travel between locations, recruiting and developing staff while controlling labor costs and profitability.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of operations management experience.
• Experience in retail/salon environments.
• Strong leadership and staff development skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to drive between locations and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee Palm Beach Tan operations across multiple salons within a district.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, systems and procedures.
• Lead sales-building efforts and manage costs including labor and cost of sales.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop staff.
• Collaborate with operators and maintain clear communications on initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Direct, coordinate and oversee Palm Beach Tan operations within a district catering to multiple salons to ensure specific and direct alignment with company-wide goals.
• Accountable for all aspects of PBT operations, including adherence to PBT quality standards, systems and procedures.
• Direct salons with sales-building as a continual focus.
• Responsible for monitoring and controlling costs including labor, cost of sales, sales revenue and profitability.
• Responsible for recruiting, hiring, developing and maintaining the highest quality staff.
• Work collaboratively with all Palm Beach Tan operators and support personnel and ensure timely and effective communications on all projects and initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Thorough knowledge of retail/sales/customer service environments
• Proven positive leadership and team development across multiple locations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to successfully utilize smartphones, tablets, and PC’s effectively
• Competent with Outlook, Excel and Word
• Must be able to drive between locations
• Open and flexible availability depending on the needs of the business and team
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• At least 3-5 years of operations (management) experience
