Job summary

Family Dollar Operations LLC is seeking a District Manager to lead 15+ store teams across the assigned area, driving profitability, customer service, and compliance. The role requires supervising store managers, mentoring leaders, and implementing standardized processes district-wide.

The District Manager will travel up to 50% across the district, recruit and develop leaders, manage budgets, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for customers and associates in Memphis, Tennessee.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• At least 5 years retail experience with at least 2 years multi-store experience required.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills with ability to build an effective team.
• Ability to analyze, organize and present information and focus on results.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills.

• Manage operational budgets and optimize store performance.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Champion a customer-first mindset across the district, setting high and consistent standards.
• Travel up to 50% of the time with occasional overnight stays to support and oversee store operations across the district.
