Job summary

Family Dollar in Davenport, Iowa, is seeking a District Manager to lead at least 15 store teams across the district. You will drive sales, profitability, and a safe, compliant work environment while coaching store managers to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities include overseeing merchandising, operations, and expense control programs, recruiting and developing managers, and promoting a customer-first culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Valid Driver’s License required
• At least 5 years retail experience with at least 2 years of multi-store experience
• Strong leadership and motivational skills along with the ability to build an effective team
• Ability to analyze, organize and present information and focus on results
• Strong business acumen and communication skill are required
• Human resources and asset protection skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in Microsoft Office is required

• Champion a customer-first mindset across the district, setting high and consistent standards
• Travel up to 50% of the time with occasional overnight stays to support and oversee store operations across the district
