Job summary

Firehouse Subs seeks an experienced District Manager to oversee 6 restaurants in the Chattanooga area. You will lead, mentor, and develop General Managers, drive operations, improve financial performance, and ensure an outstanding guest experience.

This role requires a hands-on, people-first leader who can build a positive culture, manage labor and costs, and execute company initiatives. Travel between locations is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of multi-unit restaurant leadership experience in QSR or Fast Casual.
• Strong ability to coach, motivate, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Proven track record of improving operations and achieving sales and profitability goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop 6 General Managers and their teams.
• Ensure operational excellence and consistent execution across all 6 locations.
• Drive sales growth, guest traffic, and profitability.
• Deliver exceptional guest service while maintaining brand standards.
• Manage labor, food cost, scheduling, inventory, and controllable expenses.
• Analyze performance, identify opportunities, and develop improvement plans.
• Ensure restaurants meet quality, cleanliness, safety, and execution standards.
• Implement initiatives and training programs.
• Build a positive, accountable culture that supports engagement and retention.
• Coach GMs on leadership, operations, and financial performance.
• Conduct regular visits and follow up on opportunities.
• Support openings, remodels, and brand development.
• Partner with leadership to achieve market goals.

What You'll Do

As our District Manager, you'll be responsible for driving the performance and success of your assigned restaurants. You will:

• Lead, mentor, and develop 6 General Managers and their restaurant teams
• Ensure operational excellence and consistent execution across all 6 locations
• Drive sales growth, guest traffic, and profitability
• Deliver exceptional guest service while maintaining Firehouse Subs brand standards
• Manage and improve labor, food cost, scheduling, inventory, and other controllable expenses
• Analyze restaurant performance, identify opportunities, and develop action plans for continuous improvement
• Ensure restaurants meet company expectations for food quality, cleanliness, safety, and operational execution
• Implement company initiatives and execute training and development programs
• Build a positive, accountable culture that supports employee engagement, retention, and high performance
• Coach General Managers on leadership, restaurant operations, financial performance, and team development
• Conduct regular restaurant visits and follow up on identified opportunities
• Support new restaurant openings, remodels, and ongoing brand development
• Partner with company leadership to achieve market and organizational goals

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of multi-unit restaurant leadership experience, preferably in QSR or Fast Casual
• Strong ability to coach, motivate, develop, and hold teams accountable
• Proven track record of improving restaurant operations and achieving sales and profitability goals
• Strong understanding of restaurant labor, food cost, inventory, scheduling, and P&L management
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• A hands-on, people-first leadership style
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-unit restaurant environment
• Ability to travel regularly between Chattanooga-area restaurants
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
