Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a District Operations Manager in Missouri to lead a 20–30 person Mobile Merchandiser team and 1–2 District Mobile Merchandisers across multiple points of sale. You will drive profitable sales by executing district plans, ensuring high service quality, and maintaining optimal in-store displays with retail partners.

The role requires strong remote team leadership, travel readiness, and a process-driven approach to deliver operational objectives and cost control.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a remote team that uses technology to execute duties.
• Proven ability to develop district support roles/teams.
• Experience in a high travel environment.
• Proficient in delivering operational, administrative and talent objectives via a process-driven approach.
• Experience in client-facing environments with multiple partners.

Responsibilities

• Drive strong execution across District and lead team with a focus on delivering profitable sales.
• Hold District accountable to high-quality service and secure optimal placement of displays with retail partners.
• Build strong relationships with partner store staff and maintain stock levels across the district.
• Report to Regional Manager and supervise a team of 20-30 Mobile Merchandisers and 1-2 District Mobile Merchandisers.
• Responsible for all operational processes, visual merchandising standards and overall service experience across multiple points of sale.
• Analyze controllable costs and adjust actions based on conclusions.
• Plan services in a cost-efficient way to drive sales and optimize resources.
• Monitor and adjust team members’ weekly schedules according to business needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
• Lead team through clear communication, deliver consistent feedback, and manage performance.

• Report directly to a Regional Manager and supervise a team of 20-30 Mobile Merchandisers and 1-2 District Mobile Merchandisers

Requirements

• Experience managing a remote team that utilizes technology to execute primary job duties

• Demonstrated experience working in client-facing environment(s) with multiple and simultaneous customer/partners
• Moderate proficiency of Company provided device
• Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office
