Role Description

The District Manager role at GMET Communications, LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Boston, MA. The District Manager oversees multiple retail locations, ensuring each store meets sales, customer service, and operational targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include coaching and developing store leaders, monitoring performance metrics, driving local marketing and promotional activities, and maintaining compliance with company policies and Cricket Wireless standards. The role also involves analyzing sales trends, managing staffing levels, supporting inventory control, and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment across the district.

• Demonstrated experience in multi-unit retail or sales management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals.
• Strong leadership, team development, and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and guide store managers and associates.
• Proficiency in sales planning, performance analysis, and basic financial reporting for retail operations.
• Effective communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills with internal teams and external partners.
• Organizational and time-management skills, including prioritizing tasks across multiple locations and adapting to changing business needs.
• Familiarity with wireless or telecommunications retail environments is preferred.
• Comfort with using standard office and point-of-sale software, and interpreting data to support decision-making.
• Ability to travel regularly between stores within the Boston, MA district and work on-site in retail locations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field is beneficial.
