American Homes 4 Rent, L.P. is seeking a District Maintenance Manager to lead turn maintenance operations across a district of homes, ensuring safety, quality, and timely turnover while coordinating field teams.

The role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, vendor management, and data-driven reporting; HVAC experience is preferred, with weekend work as needed and a valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree or technical training preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressive responsibility supervising field maintenance.
• Minimum two (2) years of project management experience (Capital Expenditures).
• HVAC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team handling turn maintenance operations, logistics, and daily workflow.
• Hire, train, coach, and guide field technicians while monitoring performance.
• Manage resources, budgets, and KPIs for assigned assets.
• Conduct field training, ride-alongs, inventory checks, and storage room inspections.
• Review maintenance and financial reports; communicate with internal and external partners.
• Oversee quality control and resolve escalated maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with vendor management to ensure performance and compliance.
