Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a District Manager in Training in Dalton, GA to oversee multiple stores within a district. You will learn on the job with Store Managers and empower leaders to deliver outstanding shopping experiences.

You’ll develop store leaders, analyze sales trends, recruit and train staff, manage payroll hours, and ensure cash controls and shrinkage are handled. This role requires travel up to 50% and offers a quarterly bonus upon meeting performance goals.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervisory experience required.
• Merchandising experience required.
• Recruiting experience required.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking/stooping.
• Multi-unit retail management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop store leaders to deliver exceptional shopping experiences.
• Analyze district sales results and trends to increase sales.
• Maintain inventory mix and presentation to maximize sales.
• Partner with store managers to recruit and train new associates.
• Foster growth of associates into leadership roles.
• Manage payroll hours and cash control with store audits.
• Oversee inventory shrinkage across the district.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain safe, respectful stores.
• Build relationships with associates, leaders, and communities.
