Job summary

The Alum Rock Union Elementary School District in San Jose seeks a qualified IT professional to plan, develop, coordinate and supervise the District’s local and wide-area data communication network and voice systems. You will oversee support services for microcomputer hardware, software, and network devices, and lead the district’s network and systems staff.

• Equivalent experience and education that provide the required knowledge and abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is preferred.
• Experience with school districts and SASI/IFAS/CNS systems is a plus; California driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and supervise the district’s data communication network and voice systems.
• Oversee support services for microcomputer hardware, software and network devices.
• Serve as team lead for network, systems support, programming and data, voice and video integration staff.
