Williamsville Central School District in East Amherst, New York seeks a Groundsworker to maintain athletic fields and grounds district-wide. The role includes mowing, landscaping, and equipment operation, with early weekend shifts as needed.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, 12 months, starting salary of $46,000 per year, reporting to the Grounds Crew Chief or Superintendent. A NYS driver license is required; pesticide licensure may be needed at appointment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED plus 1 year site/grounds maintenance experience, or 6 years grounds maintenance experience.
• Valid Class 3 NYS driver's license at time of appointment.
• May require pesticide applicator license at appointment.
• Verifiable part-time and/or volunteer experience pro-rated toward full-time experience.

Responsabilidades

• Transports items within and outside the district.
• Lays out and marks athletic fields.
• Operates large lawn mowing equipment.
• Snow removal from parking lots and sidewalks.
• Performs landscaping tasks.
• Operates ground equipment and trucks.
• Maintain and repair concrete and blacktop surfaces including sidewalks and parking lots.
• Assist in winter snow removal and apply salt/sand as needed.
• Perform routine tasks and handle supplies and debris.
