Job summary

Genuine Foods is seeking a Resident District Manager to lead multiple cross-functional teams and manage a public school district food service program in Albany, Oregon. This role includes overseeing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining strong client relationships across districts and catering in K-12 settings.

The position requires extensive experience in K-12 multi-unit foodservice leadership, a solid grasp of district financials, and a commitment to community impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in K-12 multi-unit foodservice leadership.
• Knowledge of Oregon Department of Education standards.
• Strong desire to learn and develop management skills.
• Leadership in roles with union experience, contract/budget management, customer service and staff development.
• Solid business and financial acumen; ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a diverse team of food service staff to provide top-quality food and customer service at all locations.
• Drive relationships with clients and achieve KPIs such as profitability, safety, and engagement.
• Communicate with leadership to share best practices, mitigate risks, and promote transparency and accountability.
• Oversee district financial results, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting with leadership.
• Collaborate with Sales, HR, Procurement, Marketing, and Finance to support account needs and resolve issues.
