Job summary

Canteen is hiring a District Accounting Manager in Minneapolis, MN. The role oversees accounting and iVend activities for the district, with a Monday–Friday in-office schedule and pay range of $80,000–$90,000.

The position requires a BA in Accounting/Finance, strong MS Office and SAP skills, and 2–5 years financial management experience. Eligible for the company benefits package and potential for evening month-end work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) and SAP.
• A minimum of 2–5 years financial management experience, preferred.
• Ability to track and measure financial data and communicate information up and down.
• Potential evening work during month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll, benefits admin, training, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee cash handling and banking services.
• Manage A/R and A/P processes.
• Assist in weekly reporting.
• Support period close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Provide financial insights to district operations.
• Lead a team of 5–8 direct reports.
