Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a District Facility Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance teams across a multi-city footprint including York, PA, Middletown, PA, and Hagerstown, MD. You will drive preventive and corrective programs, ensure asset readiness, and manage costs while collaborating with Operations to sustain uninterrupted service.

The role requires leadership of maintenance technicians, vendor oversight, and strong planning, with travel within the district as needed and adherence to safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with two years in building maintenance.
• Two years of leadership or management experience preferred.
• Experience managing maintenance vendors and service contracts.
• Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, doors).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Facility Maintenance Technicians (FMTs).
• Oversee district maintenance operations and PM/EM repairs.
• Monitor work order aging, response times, and service quality.
• Partner with Operations to prioritize maintenance needs.
• Manage vendor performance and cost efficiency opportunities.
• Coordinate daily operations and administrative functions.
