Job summary

California State Assembly in California is seeking a full-time District Director to oversee district office operations in the 51st Assembly District. You will supervise staff, coordinate office activities, track district issues, and support outreach and events for the Assemblymember's agenda.

The ideal candidate will have district office management experience, forward thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, including evenings

Responsibilities

• supervise staff in and coordinate the operations of the District Office.
• track key district issues and keep the Assemblymember and the office informed.
• develop and expand community outreach efforts and plan district events.
• supervise and direct district staff tasks and ensure adherence to policies and expectations.
• build professional relationships with officials, leaders, stakeholders, and constituents.
