Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Custodial Manager to lead custodial operations across district facilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff. You will develop cleaning programs, manage staffing and budgets, and support school activities and events.

The role requires 3-5 years in custodial or facilities roles, with supervisory experience, OSHA familiarity, and strong leadership and communication skills. Travel between district facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years custodial, facilities, or environmental services experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee custodial operations across school district facilities.
• Develop and monitor cleaning schedules, preventative maintenance programs, and QA standards.
• Conduct routine facility inspections for cleanliness, safety, and appearance.
• Respond to facility concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate after-hours activities and district events.
• Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate custodial staff.
• Provide coaching and development opportunities while managing staffing within budget.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and staff training on safety and chemical handling.
• Manage budgets and procurement of equipment, supplies, and chemicals.
• Collaborate with administrators and staff to address facility needs.
