Job summary

Burlington County Institute of Technology (BCIT) is seeking a reliable District Courier to provide timely pickup and delivery across district locations. The role supports daily operations by safely transporting mail, materials, and equipment, adhering to assigned schedules.

Qualified candidates will have a valid driver's license, at least three years of safe driving experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Minimum of three years of safe driving experience.

Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and follow assigned delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

Provide pickup and delivery of internal mail to all district sites on an assigned schedule.
Perform pre-delivery sorting, inspection, and determine appropriate routing for mail and packages.
Deliver special packages, books, and school materials as needed.
Assist Transportation, Facilities, and the School Business Administrator as assigned.
Support business office functions, including banking-related tasks.
Transport furniture and equipment between school locations.
Assist maintenance and operations crews as needed.
Respond to after-hours emergencies when requested.
Deliver Board of Education agendas and materials to board members.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
