Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking a District Controller to act as a true finance business partner to Operations, working with the District Manager and local leadership to drive financial performance and actionable insights. Youll own district-level budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting while challenging the business where needed.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor0s degree in Accounting/Finance, 5+ years of experience, strong Excel skills, and a proven ability to translate numbers
At Coastal Waste & Recycling, we’re building more than a company, we’re building a team. As one of the fastest-growing privately held waste and recycling companies in the Southeast, we’re looking for people who take pride in their work, put safety first, and are ready to grow with us.
District Controller
Coastal Waste & Recycling is growing, and we’re looking for a District Controller who wants to be more than the person who reports the numbers.
This role is a true finance business partner to Operations. You’ll work closely with the District Manager and local leadership team to understand what is driving performance, identify opportunities, challenge the business when needed, and help turn financial data into better operational decisions.
If you enjoy being close to the business, digging into the why behind the numbers, and helping leaders improve performance, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do
What We’re Looking For
Nice to Have
CPA or MBA, experience in waste, logistics, transportation, fleet-intensive operations, construction, or another multi-location operating environment, and experience with acquisitions or integrations are all a plus.
Why Coastal?
Coastal Waste & Recycling is a rapidly growing company with an entrepreneurial mindset. We’re continuing to build and improve how we operate, which means this is an opportunity to have a real voice in the business rather than simply inherit a finished playbook.
