Job summary

The role serves as brand manager, media liaison, and community engagement lead, working with students, families, staff, and local partners.

You will manage the district website and social media, produce compelling stories and visuals, coordinate events, and support transparent, timely communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design, or related field preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong photography and videography experience.
• Graphic design experience.
• Website management experience.
• Social media management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the district's annual communications and marketing plan.
• Create communication strategies that support district goals and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure consistent district branding across all schools and departments.
• Develop messaging that promotes transparency, trust, and community engagement.
• Serve as the district's primary media contact.
• Write and distribute press releases and media advisories.
• Coordinate interviews and media requests.
• Promote positive stories highlighting student achievement, staff excellence, and district innovation.
• Develop relationships with local newspapers, television, radio, and online media.
