Harmony Public Schools seeks a Career Navigator to support high school students and alumni in college and career success. The role delivers tailored workshops, assessments, and advising, tracks IBCs, and supports post-graduation transitions to education or career pathways.

The position collaborates with district partners to host events, field trips, externships, and workshops, guiding students through results and planning for workforce programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Understands and supports Harmony Public Schools' mission, vision, and values.
• Plans and delivers monthly career talks, industry panels, and alumni speaker series.
• Coordinates annual college and career expos with regional partners.
• Organizes field trips to employers and community colleges for real-world exposure.
• Facilitates externship/internship programs with employer partners.
• Collaborates to organize Career Test Drive and Essential Skills Workshops.
• Analyzes YouScience assessment data to create personalized career plans.
• Guides students in interpreting assessments to actionable plans.
• Assists in implementing IBC programs across campuses.
• Monitors IBC completion and intervenes to ensure graduation.
• Conducts 1-1 career guidance for seniors connected to workforce programs.
• Provides summer melt intervention for seniors pursuing alternatives.
• Performs outreach via text campaigns and check-ins with seniors and grads.
• Supports enrollment in Level 1 and 2 certificates and related training.
