Canteen, a division of Compass Group USA, seeks a District Chef to oversee culinary operations across multiple corporate dining accounts. You will lead a team, ensure safety and sanitation, and travel between Kingsport, TN, Asheville, NC, Hickory, NC and Winston-Salem, NC to support and develop menus.

Preferred candidates have a culinary degree and at least five years of district culinary management experience, including multi-site leadership and high-volume catering expertise.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree preferred and strong culinary leadership experience.
• Minimum five years in culinary management and two years across multiple sites.
• Experience in high-volume production and catering essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee culinary functions for multiple corporate accounts.
• Support and supervise a team of cooks and ensure safety and sanitation.
• Travel between Kingsport, TN, and NC sites to manage operations.
• Develop menus, costing, and contribute to culinary programs.
• Coach and mentor chefs, drive cost controls and innovation.
