Job summary

Lewiston Public Schools is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide district-wide behavioral consultation and direct support for ABA-based programs in public schools. The role involves designing and supervising individualized, evidence-based behavioral and skill-building interventions for students with ASD, developmental disabilities, ADHD, or significant behavioral challenges.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in ABA, Special Education, Psychology, or related field required.
  • Current BCBA certification required.
  • Experience with autism and behavioral supports in school settings preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct FBA and create data-driven PBSPs.
  • Coach and train teachers, Ed Techs, and staff in ABA strategies.
  • Collaborate with IEP teams to develop behavior-related goals.
  • Provide consultation to general and special education classrooms.
  • Assist with crisis plans, MTSS/PBIS, and staff PD.
