ReNEW Schools in Nampa, Idaho, is seeking a District Athletic and Activity Director to oversee all athletic programs and activities within the district. This role involves providing leadership and strategic direction while ensuring the alignment of programs with district goals.
The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant teaching or administrative experience. A Master's Degree in School Administration and Idaho Administrative Certification are required.

The District Director of Student Athletics and Activities will provide leadership, supervision, evaluation, and alignment of the athletic and co‑curricular programs for the District. The Director is responsible for the implementation and coordination of District athletics and activities programs through an ongoing process of planning for innovation, strategic planning and student achievement. The Director ensures that principals, athletic directors, coaches, co‑curricular instructors, and support staff receive quality professional development. They establish a culture that promotes sportsmanship, learning, good conduct, positive attitudes and the District’s values. The Director promotes and articulates the District’s learner focused goals and objectives. They articulate and oversee the District’s Strategic Plan goals and objectives. They develop a comprehensive strategic plan for athletics and activities that is in alignment with the District Strategic Plan. They involve staff, parents and the community in the on‑going activities and athletic programs of the District. The Director confers with central administrators and site leadership to assist with staffing, manages specific issues, develops athletics and activities budgets, and directs the selection and provision of athletic resources and facilities.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to conduct basic math functions and manipulate formulas in spreadsheets as needed.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form. Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
