Job summary
Global Widget in Tampa is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join the Distribution team. You will pick and pack products, assist with shipping and inventory, and follow health and safety requirements to support efficient warehouse operations.
Key tasks include reading pick lists, operating forklifts, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining accurate inventory records using basic software and scanners. We offer health benefits, 401(k) with match, PTO, casual dress and team-building events.
Qualifications
- Fast-paced order picking requires lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of inventory software, barcode scanners and organization.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Experience operating forklifts and related equipment is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Understand product descriptions on customer Pick List.
- Operate lift or hand trucks to move materials.
- Unpack, inspect, and route shipments; reject damaged items.
- Pull and pack customer orders from computer systems and labels.
- Load/unload incoming/outgoing trucks; ensure accuracy of counts.
