Description

As the Distribution Team Lead, you will own a set of critical tasks and functions as part of the daily execution of distribution work and training.

Responsibilities include managing workflows across the facility, directing labor, moving resources, administrating work in various systems, and managing daily operations.

In the training role, you will handle onboarding, efficiency coaching, certification, and recertification for new and existing team members.

You will partner with distribution leadership to plan labor needs, meet operational goals, evaluate and improve training programs, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Shift Times

1:00pm-9:00pm, Monday-Friday, with overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities
Coordination
  • Execute staffing plans and escalate issues to leadership.
  • Plan, allocate, and coordinate activities in the consolidation zone.
  • Monitor order changes and execute adjustments in SAP/eWM systems.
  • Coordinate urgent delivery requests with Customer Service and Transportation teams.
  • Manage BTS Display Orders, SSCC labeling, and shipment planning.
  • Print packing slips and perform end-of-day reconciliation.
  • Maintain organized work areas and ensure document accessibility.
  • Provide timely information to stakeholders and update Excel worksheets for data integrity.
Training
  • Develop and manage new hire training, including certifications within 90 days.
  • Manage ongoing training and recertification for experienced staff.
  • Implement cross-training programs and maintain Skills Matrix.
  • Identify and implement best practices to enhance training effectiveness.
  • Partner with supervisors to improve processes and roll out new initiatives.
  • Contribute to SOP and Job Instruction development, ensuring adherence to policies.
  • Assist in outbound activities as needed, such as picking and loading.
Education and Experience
  • 2+ years of distribution administration experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in training, operations management, and exception resolution.
  • Ability to work independently with initiative and urgency.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
Working Conditions
  • Variable conditions including temperature changes, noise, dust, and mechanical parts exposure.
