Qualifications

• High School education or 2-3 years of warehouse experience.
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
• Data processing and PC experience with Word & Excel preferred.
• Ability to set priorities based on workload and turnaround requirements.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work under pressure of turnaround and quality constraints.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management and staff.

Responsibilities

• Leads and coordinates shipping and/or receiving and operators for quality goals and productivity.
• Trains internal employees and temporary staff per quality and customer specifications.
• Supervises day-to-day operations and assists in performance management when needed.
• Ensures adherence to department processes and protocols; resolves issues.
• Recommends staffing level adjustments to match work volumes.
• Ensures supplies and tools are available to employees.
• Proposes updates to procedure documentation or manuals to the Supervisor.
• Maintains safety by recognizing and addressing potentially accident-causing situations.
