Job summary

Eversource seeks a technically skilled professional to plan, coordinate, and review switching and tagging; write, check, and issue clearances; monitor loads and emergency restoration for the electric distribution system in an assigned region.

The role requires knowledge of transmission/distribution equipment, safety codes, and experience in emergency response. Travel within MA/CT/NH and 24/7 shift rotation are involved.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience.
• Zero to five years of related electrical utility experience.
• Ability to work under stressful emergency situations for extended periods of time.
• Must successfully pass all required pre-employment assessments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze trouble calls and initiate corrective action with the appropriate teams.
• Participate in emergency restoration activities and coordinate with regional centers.
• Monitor loads and voltages to ensure safe operation during switching/peak periods.
• Maintain outage management system model with real-time status.
• Coordinate emergency actions with partners and other utilities.
